Child Custody Statistics That Are Interesting
If we look at different child custody statistics it is really hard not to be worried. Unfortunately there are a lot of problems whenever we have to deal with custody disputes. Problems are always possible and we are faced with one negative child impact that should be taken seriously. Let us analyze a bunch of different child custody statistics that you are to find interesting.
When talking about child custody statistics we must first think about father condition. You should know that around 90 percent of the fathers that are divorced lack full custody rights. Unfortunately stats tell us that 60% of the young suicides come from children that have grown up without fathers. Also, out of all rapists and children showing behavioral disorders around 80% of them have grown up in fatherless houses. This is quite sad since around 47% of all fathers have no rights of visitations. Unfortunately we can say that around half of all mothers think that the role of the father is not that important and is of no real impact on a child’s life. We see many mothers trying to cut the father’s rights completely and wanting full custody just to stop him from visiting the child. Also, we see 70%of fathers being sad as they think they do not spend the time that they should with kids.
It is very interesting to also look at child custody statistics linked with child support. Also, out of all the fathers that lack child visitation rights 45% will still support children. Also, 10 percent of fathers simply do not want to have any part in the kid’s life after a separation. We do know an interesting fact in telling you that 66% of all fathers are actually not paying for child support because they can not afford it, not because they do not want to.
It is very important to try and keep the presence of both parents in the life of a child. We now know that 1 in 4 children will eventually commit suicide if living in environments with just one parent. This is just one of many other examples you can learn from child custody statistics. We do recommend that any child custody battle you are involved with should be handled properly and with the interest of the child in your mind.
